Consistent quality over time

This was my third order from Sovol, this time for some PETG Filament and a PEI Spring Steel Sheet. Just like my previous purchases, everything arrived well-packaged and in good condition. The filament prints consistently, and the new build plate is a definite upgrade. I keep coming back because their products are reliable, and I haven't had any issues with their service. It's nice to know what to expect when you order, and they deliver every time.

Got my SV08, it's pretty cool

Ordered the SV08 High Speed 3D Printer after seeing some reviews online. It arrived in about a week, which was decent. Setting it up wasn't too hard, just followed the instructions. Prints really fast, which is awesome for bigger projects. Had a small question about the settings and their support actually got back to me pretty quick. Pretty good experience all around.

Good printer, slow delivery

I bought the SV06 3D Printer and it's performing quite well for the price. The print quality has been consistent, and I appreciate the open-source nature of it. My only real gripe was the shipping; it took about 10 days to reach me in California, which felt a bit long. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the delay, which was a plus. Overall, a solid value but they could speed up their logistics a bit.

SV06 Plus is fantastic!

Got the SV06 Plus and it's been an absolute blast to use! Setup was way easier than I thought, and my prints are coming out beautifully. Definitely ordering more filament from them soon. Really happy with this purchase!

Great value on filament bundle

I was looking to stock up on PLA and found a great filament bundle deal here. The price per roll was significantly better than other places I checked, especially with the multi-buy discount. It made a real difference to my budget. The order arrived pretty quickly, too. It felt like a smart purchase and I definitely got good value for my money. I'll be checking their deals again when I need more supplies.

How easy are returns if I decide the printer isn't for me? Any horror stories?

R Raj C. 2 months ago
Returns were pretty straightforward for me. Had to pay shipping back, but they processed the refund quick once they got it.

I returned an SV01 Pro once. Not super fast, but it went smoothly. Just make sure you keep all the original packaging.

I'm looking at the SV06 and the SV06 Plus. Is the Plus worth the extra money? What's the main difference?

B Ben G. 2 months ago
The Plus has a bigger build volume, which is huge if you plan on printing larger stuff. Also, I think the hotend is a bit better for higher temps.

Mostly size and some minor improvements on the Plus. If you don't need the bigger print area, the regular SV06 is still a solid machine and cheaper.

I saw some refurbished SV06 printers on sale. Do those come with any kind of warranty or am I on my own if something breaks?

D Daisy K. 1 month ago
Pretty sure they do. I remember seeing something about a warranty on refurbs, but it might be shorter than new printers.

My buddy got a refurbished SV04 and it had a 6-month warranty, I think. Definitely check the product page though.

Can you combine promo codes on Sovol? I have a discount for a printer and saw a code for filament.

N Nina 2 months ago
Nah, usually you can only use one code per order. They don't stack coupons most of the time.

A Alex 2 months ago
I've never had luck stacking codes. It's usually one or the other in my experience.

Hey guys, thinking of getting the SV06 Plus. How long does shipping usually take to like, California?

F Faith D. 2 months ago
Mine took about a week and a half to get to LA. It ships from a US warehouse so it's not too bad.

N Nick C. 2 months ago
Yeah, I'm in Arizona and got my SV07 Plus in about 8 days. Not super fast like Amazon but decent for a 3D printer.

Does Sovol have any student discounts? I'm trying to save some cash for a new printer.

J James J. 2 months ago
Yeah, they usually have one. Check their 'Discounts' page or the footer of the site, I think there's a link there for student verification.

I used a student discount last year for my SV06. Had to verify through a third-party service, but it worked.

Does anyone know if Sovol takes PayPal? Just making sure before I hit 'buy' on that filament bundle.

D David Y. 2 months ago
Yup, they do! Used PayPal for my last order, no issues.

Can confirm, PayPal is an option at checkout. Super convenient.

Is the SV08 actually better than like, a Bambu Lab P1P? Or is it just hype for the speed?

A Amber E. 2 months ago
It's different. The SV08 is really fast for a budget printer, but Bambu has its own ecosystem. Depends what you're looking for. SV08 is more open source.

T Tom 2 months ago
Hard to say 'better' outright. SV08 is a fantastic value for the speed and open nature. Bambu is more polished out of the box but also way more expensive.
